Order Processing
Orders will be processed within 3-5 days after the purchase has been made. A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt.
Shipping Policy
All orders will be shipped the Monday or Tuesday after payment has been processed. Shipping on only Mondays and Tuesdays lessens the chance that your plants will be stuck in a dark box in a shipping warehouse over a long weekend.
Sorry, we cannot ship to Canada, Alaska, nor Hawaii. Any orders from these states will be immediately cancelled and any payment will be refunded.
Once an order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information.
All our orders will be shipped Priority through USPS from Hartford, Wisconsin.
Due to the climate where our nursery is located, and the cold-intolerance of many of our plants, all boxes shipped during and between the months November and April will require the purchase of a disposable heat pack. If you choose not to purchase a heat pack, we cannot guarantee your plants will not be damaged from low temperatures.
In effort to avoid issues like root rot and mold during shipment, many of our drought tolerant plants will shipped with dry, or bare roots to reduce the cost of shipping. This also helps reduce the chances of intrastate soil and pest contamination.
Plants are securely packed with sustainably sourced wood fibers and/or polyester fiber fill. Plants will need to be carefully unpacked, watered, and acclimated to bright light. Please refer to enclosed instructions for specifics.
The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping address. If a package is returned to Yellow Cloud Horticulture, LLC, the order will be canceled immediately. If the customer still wants the item, they are responsible for the cost to re-ship.
Cancellations
Customers may cancel orders anytime before their order ships. Once a product has been shipped, we will not cancel any orders. No exceptions will be made.
Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
We do our best not to make mistakes, but we are human! If you think we’ve goofed up, please contact us and allow us to resolve the issue for you. However, due to the nature of our product and varying state laws, we cannot accept returns nor exchanges on live plant purchases for any reason.
For all other merchandise, or to request a refund for a plant, please email us with your request, a reason for the request, and video of the items being unboxed that shows any potential damages to the product(s) that occurred during shipping.
Plants that travel through the mail in fair weather conditions are traumatized, even with the gentlest care. Leaf drop, bruising, wilting, loss of color is normal. We will only issue a full refund for plants that are dead upon arrival if requested by email within 24 hours after delivery, and the customer includes a video of the plant being unboxed. Without a video, you will not receive a full refund.
Approval for returns and exchange requests are at the discretion of Yellow Cloud Horticulture, LLC.
Yellow Cloud Horticulture, LLC is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or missing packages once an order has been shipped. Contact the USPS with any issues that may arise.
Yellow Cloud Horticulture, LLC is not responsible for obvious mishandling by the carrier and/or customer.
Disclaimers
Plants that have been boxed for several days may need twice as long to recover. It is not uncommon for plants to drop a leaf or two from shock, or have some bruising. Please give them water, and low light for the first few days before acclimating them to their final location.
Yellow Cloud Horticulture, LLC cannot guarantee the health of your plant once it is in your hands. All plants will include care suggestions, but if you still have questions, we are more than happy to help in any way we can.
Yellow Cloud Horticulture, LLC is providing plant materials to the recipient without any absolute guarantees of the variety and cultivar identified by the nursery grower or its suppliers. We do our best to use plants’ proper, botanical names, but we are not breeders and may unknowingly misidentify an exact cultivar.
Plants may have superficial markings that do not detract from the value of the plants. All plants are sold “as is”.
While we will never knowingly ship plants with a pest history, it is possible that you may find insects in the plant or soil including, but not limited to: ladybugs, slugs, garden spiders, and/or ants.
Yellow Cloud Horticulture, LLC cannot be held liable for any allergic reactions that people or pets may have coming into contact with our products. Please use caution when purchasing plants where pets or young children may be near them.
