FAQ
🍃Do you have a physical location where I can shop in person?
We do not have a storefront or public nursery open at this time. However, we may be available for on-person sales by appointment. Please contact us by Messenger on Facebook or by email at yellowcloudllc@gmail.com with inquiries. We also do make occasional appearances at local markets and fairs around Washington County, Wisconsin. Opening a year-round nursery where customers can choose their own plants is our living dream, and we strive to see it come true within the next few years.
🍃Where are you located?
Our greenhouses are situated on private, leased residential land in Erin, Wisconsin. Our main office is located in 8 miles north, in Hartford. (Growing Zone 5a)
🍃Are you licensed to grow and sell plants?
We are licensed by the DATCP to grow and deal nursery stock. Our nursery has been inspected and certified to legally and safely ship plants outside of our ecological quarantined zone.
🍃What is the source of your plants?
The majority of our current stock of plants have been propagated from the owners’ personal collections, taken from years-old plants, or gifts from family and friends. We also have a working business relationship with North Carolina Farms as a direct source for many of our annuals, perennials, and other foliage. Our plants and grow spaces are routinely inspected for quarantined pests and infectious plant diseases by the DATCP.
🍃When will I receive my order?
Following processing time (please refer to policies page), plants will be shipped the Monday or Tuesday after payment has been completed. We ship all plants with Priority Shipping, but once the package is in the care of the carrier, shipping times are out of our control. If packages have not arrived within 7 days after you receive a tracking email, please use the contact form to seek resolution.
🍃How do I take care of my new plant?
Every plant requires specific care, and detailed instructions will be included for each plant purchased. If you have further questions, please use the contact form, and we will be happy to help in any way we can.
🍃My plant was damaged during shipping; how can I get a replacement or refund?
It is not unusual for plants to dull in color, develop yellowing leaves, drop leaves, wilt, get bent, or even get a broken stem during transit. However, if you feel that the damage your plant endured during shipping was excessive, please email us your contact information and a photo of your plant and the damage. Also, refer to our Policies page for full requirements for refunds. We can not accept returns on plants under any circumstances.
