FAQ

🍃Do you have a physical location where I can shop in person?

We do not have a storefront, and no longer have a public nursery open at this time. We do make occasional appearances at local markets and fairs around Washington County, Wisconsin, and can meet local customers in person for pick-up. Opening a year-round greenhouse where customers can choose their own plants is our Legolas, and we strive to see it come true within the next few years.

🍃Where are you located?

Our greenhouses are situated on private, residential land in Hartford, Wisconsin, growing zone 5a.

🍃Are you licensed to grow and sell plants?

We are licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Trade and Consumer Protection to grow and sell nursery stock.

🍃What is the source of your plants?

The majority of our current stock of plants have been propagated from the owners’ personal collections, taken from years-old plants, or gifts from family and friends. We also have a working business relationship with North Carolina Farms, and Freedom Foliage as a direct sources for many of our annuals, and common foliage plants.

🍃When will I receive my order?

Following processing time (please refer to policies page), plants will be shipped the Monday or Tuesday after payment has been completed. We ship all plants with Priority Shipping, but once the package is in the care of the carrier, shipping times are out of our control. If packages have not arrived within 7 days after you receive a tracking email, please use the contact form to seek resolution.

🍃How do I take care of my new plant?

Immediately after delivery, unbox and unwrap your plants to inspect them. Water plants lightly, if needed. Allow plant to slowly acclimate to your growing conditions over a period of 3-7 days. Every plant requires specific care. We encourage you to use the contact form for any care questions you may have.

🍃My plant was damaged during shipping; how can I get a replacement or refund?

It is not unusual for plants to dull in color, develop yellowing leaves, drop leaves, wilt, get bent, or even get a broken stem during transit. However, if you feel that the damage your plant endured during shipping was excessive, please email us your contact information and a photo of your plant and the damage.  Also, refer to our Policies page for full requirements for refunds. We can not accept returns on plants under any circumstances.
